How does color mixing work?
This tool uses RGB linear interpolation — it blends the red, green, and blue values proportionally. Mixing #FF0000 (red) and #0000FF (blue) at 50/50 produces #800080 (purple), the midpoint of each channel.
Is this the same as mixing paint?
No. Paint uses subtractive mixing (CMYK) — red + green paint = brown. Screens use additive mixing (RGB) — red + green light = yellow. This tool simulates screen (RGB) mixing.
Can I mix more than two colors?
Mix two at a time — use the result as input with a third color. Adjust ratios at each step to control the final blend.
