Acerca de Wingdings Translator

This Wingdings translator converts standard text to Wingdings-style Unicode symbols and decodes Wingdings symbols back to readable text. The translator maps each keyboard character to its corresponding Wingdings symbol using Unicode dingbats that display on any device. A font preview section shows how the text renders in the actual Wingdings font (if installed). Wingdings was created by Microsoft in 1990 and is commonly used for decorative purposes, puzzles, and encoding messages.

Preguntas frecuentes

How do I translate text to Wingdings?
Type or paste text in the input box with 'Text → Wingdings' mode selected. Each letter and number is converted to its Wingdings symbol equivalent. Click Copy to copy the symbols.
How do I decode Wingdings to text?
Switch to 'Wingdings → Text' mode and paste Wingdings symbols in the input. The tool converts each symbol back to its original letter or number. You can also use the Swap button to reverse the last conversion.
Why do the Unicode symbols look different from actual Wingdings?
Wingdings is a proprietary font that uses private character mappings. The Unicode output uses the closest matching Unicode symbols from the Dingbats and Miscellaneous Symbols blocks, which approximate the Wingdings appearance but may differ slightly. The font preview section shows the actual Wingdings rendering.
